[Question] Why do I have bacteria growing in my cold brew?

After one or two days, I start to notice something in my cold brew. I definitely wasn't there before and it wouldn't have been able to fit through the filter. I think it started happening when I started to use a different filter (metal) which was from an old coffee machine. Have any of you had to deal with bacteria? If it is the filter, how can I clean it?
