I love coffee but I generally always have the same thing. Either Folgers (which is kind of awful) or some flavored roast that's already grinded at Fresh Market which is pretty good. I want to try some truly high quality coffee and heard that, without a doubt, a coffee grinder is necessary to get the best flavor. So I've went ahead and got a grinder and some beans with good reviews from Amazon.
Right now I just have a normal drip coffee machine with a cone paper filter. Should I bother upgrading my coffee machine as well? Does anyone have any suggestions for either a better coffee machine or some high quality beans to try? I couldn't tell you what kind of roast I like because I'm far from a coffee connoisseur, but I tend to enjoy dark roasts more from my experience.
