GO L'I'V'E"PGA Championship Golf 2015 Live..Stream..All..Rounds..Watch..OnlineGO L'I'V'E"PGA Championship Golf 2015 Live..Stream..All..Rounds..Watch..Online When the PGA Championship kicks off at Whistling Straits golf course in Kohler, Wisconsin, on Thursday, the two top golfers in the world will finally get the opportunity to face off in the year's final major. That alone will be worth the price of admission. But there will be an entire field of storylines, and this year's PGA Championship promises to be an excellent one. Below, you'll find the schedule, odds, a preview and a prediction to get you ready for the event.

After a season dominated by Jordan Spieth, the PGA Championship will see him face off against Rory McIlroy, who will be in action at the tournament. He posted the following on Instagram on Saturday. It will certainly be fun watching the two top golfers in action face off in the final major of the year. And the fact that they will be paired together for the first two days is icing on the cake and the primary storyline heading into the tournament.

If Don King were in charge, the posters would already have been printed, billing it as “The Duel in the Dunes” or Bristling at Whistling” or suchlike. Despite golf being a game of so many maddening variables that it almost never obeys the script, it is difficult not to descend into hyperbole as McIlroy and Spieth finally face each other as multiple major-winners.

It is McIlroy—and perhaps only McIlroy—who can prevent Spieth from becoming just the third player in history, after Ben Hogan and Tiger Woods, to win three majors in a year. Even at the British Open, where Spieth missed the playoff, it appeared he wasn't beaten so much as he beat himself at key holes, missing shots he was expected to convert.

It is McIlroy, though, whose best is perhaps good enough to beat Spieth's best over the course of four days. Can any other golfer in the world say that.

Perhaps Bubba Watson going on one of his irrepressible runs of form could do so. Jason Day has been superb this year and seems primed to earn his first major conquest sooner rather than later. Dustin Johnson has been knocking on the door as well and certainly has the talent. But none has ascended to the heights of Spieth this year or McIlroy in the past.

This is golf, of course, so the likelihood of this becoming a two-horse race heading into Sunday is probably slim. And McIlroy will certainly be tested on the hilly Whistling Straits course, which certainly will not be forgiving on the star's ankle.

The former star looked improved in Virginia two weeks ago, but he has been particularly poor at the majors of late and, at this point, seems like a pretty pedestrian golfer. Without fail, watching Woods seems like the exercise of asking, "Is this the tournament the magic returns?" and finding the answer to be a simple and emphatic, "Nope. Not even close.
