Welcome to the official /r/Coffee “Industry” thread! This weekly thread is a place for all industry folks to introduce themselves, share projects, post coupon codes for /r/Coffee members, promote a new coffee or product, post job openings, answer industry related questions, and generally connect with the /r/Coffee community.
Please ask us questions, join in the discussion, make suggestions and get to know us.
There are a few rules for businesses posting promotional material:
-
You need to be active in /r/Coffee to participate in this thread. If you have a month old account with 5 posts and are trying to link to your roasting shops website, I will probably delete it. Build up some /r/Coffee karma first. The Official Noob-Tastic Question Fest weekly thread would be a good place to start, and check out what is on the Front Page and jump in on some discussions.
-
I encourage you to link to your website, social media sites or whatever you’d like but don’t just drop a link. Say something worthwhile, spark up a conversation and make some connections here.
-
Kickstarter and other fundraising campaigns are the exception. If you’d like to post a fundraising campaign, contact the mods first and ask permission.
-
More rules may be added in the future. If you think what you intend to post might be questionable, send us some mod mail and ask first.
I really hope that this thread better connects those working the coffee industry with all the amazing and enthusiastic people on /r/Coffee. Please let me know if you can think of any way to improve this thread and thank you everyone for being a part of /r/Coffee!
